This field work was very challenging as explained by Dennis Werner who told that a scorpion sting had resulted to extreme body numbness, jerking muscle spasms and also a level of suffocation. The fieldwork in Yanomamo had appeared to develop certain health issues and itching all over the body which becomes very difficult for the field workers to handle the situation and get along with their work.
